Welcome to Wengormick Bull Terriers.

We are Wendy, Gordon and Kim Whittaker from Burnley, and are currently owned by 4 Bull Terriers, Eli, Emily, Ellie and Esta.

In Feb 2000 we obtained our first bull terrier-Eli. Eli is an Aricon bred dog who is white with a red ear.  Eli has the greatest of
personalities, he is so clever you can more or less have a conversation with him!! We showed Eli a little when he was young but he didn't enjoy it, so decided to let him enjoy life at home and on the moors. See the Gallery for Pics of our lad.
In March 2001 Eli's breeder contacted us asking if we knew of anyone who might want to re-home Eli's litter sister, Emily.  Well of course having been bitten by the Bull Terrier bug told him to bring her to us for the weekend to see how she settled in - Emily is still with us now 5 years later - Long weekend eh!!  Emily is not show quality but had such a cheeky personality and settled in so well we just had to keep her. Later in 2001 Kim left home and set up home with her partner, and also having become madly in love with Bullies decided their home wasn't complete without one!  Kim rescued a Bullie in 2001 called Missy.  Missy was a beautiful Black Brindle girl from the Ghabar lines. Unfortunately when Kim re-homed Missy she was very poorly, and we sadly lost her in 2002. We miss her dearly but at least we know she's now at peace and free from pain. At first Kim didn't want another bullie after the pain of loosing Missy but after a while was missing one, so decided to get another.  She got in touch with Dominic and Elaine Clark of the Fourheatons Grandopera  kennels andin March 2003 Kim got Ellie, aka Fourheatons Grandopera First Lady. Ellie is a beautiful Tri coloured girl with the nautiest
personality!!

We decided to show Ellie and she has done us proud - so far having won 1CC, 2RCCs, 2 BISs and many more prestigious awards. See Ellie's page for more info on her wins and planned litters.
In 2004 Kim moved back home - of course with Ellie in tow, so 2 quickly moved to 3, and then in October 2005 we were up to 4!! In October 2005 along came Esta from Rod and Debbie Linacre of the Yendorian Kennels. We were not planning on getting a 4th bullie just  yet, but we went to Rod and Debbies for some puppy cuddles and fell in
love with her!!
